per Hunt Palmer, FSU didn't directly sell out its 30k ticket allotment; 10k tix sold

On Hunt & Hill, Hunt mentioned that FSU partnered with a ticket broker, sold what they could, and the remaining were purchased by the broker. Leads to believe that around 10k FSU fans purchased tickets directly through the university.

I can't find any articles confirming this, but I would be shocked if 30k FSU fans didn't show up being that they're a national brand and the school is a six hour drive from NOLA.

Times are tough, gas is expensive, Nola has a bad reputation and watching at home is really really nice.

Neutral site games are trash. This series should be played on each campus. Hopefully poor crowds will get games back in actual college stadiums.

As I stated several days ago, I expect the dome to be 2/3 Tiger fans.

They had 28,000 under capacity at their game Saturday. There was no way they bought 30,000 tickets for a road game.

No chance FSU has 30k. I know several LSU people that bought tickets off their website because they were cheaper. I’d say 20k is probably more accurate.

That makes sense, I would say 80% of tix for sale on 3rd party sides are on FSU side

Judging by the tickets available I’d say there will be plenty of empty seats.

Can't say I blame them. Who in the heck wants to travel to Chicago South (NOLA) and risk getting picked off by cockroaches as they exit the stadium after the game?

For you FSU fans brave enough to show up at the Dome for the game? I strongly urge you practice swivel head techniques, and wear body armour. Plus when you get out of your taxi, hunch down and don't make eye contact. I'm serious.

Good luck.

It’s true, plus look at all the ticket outlets. Every seat available is on FSU side.

They don't want to get shot in the city... don't blame them.

This makes sense. I found it very surprising when it was announced that they sold 30k that quickly.

Decadence will be in full swing on Sunday. There will be lots of FSU "fans" in Nola already.

There’s a much better chance of 30k FSU fans in NOLA for this game than there is 20k LSU fans in Orlando next year.

I thought from the start that was fishy. I never thought them a rabid, traveling fan base.

Lots of fans down here. Saw more than 10,000 yesterday alone.

I would be shocked if there were NOT 30k FSU fans. It will be a great atmosphere.

Also to people complaining about neutrals site…. It’s not just any site it’s the damn Dome baby.
