There has to be odds on if he’ll drop the N word on air.. it has gotten that bad.

He's been saying that on air when he puts the mascot head on for 30 years

Corso is a worse version of Joe Biden. It’s pitiful they keep trotting him out there.

I don't understand their target market with him.
-I'm in my mid-30s so I grew up watching him when his shctik was new and hilarious. The people in the my boat though, where presumably ESPN is trying to hit on nostalgia, have gotten too old to find that shtick appealing anymore. Not to mention the novelty is gone
-Current young people, who would have been prime targets for his antics years ago, likely find him senile and mildly retarded since they only know this old dinosaur version of corso.
So again I'm very curious who ESPN is trying to appeal to by continuing to trot him out there. The only 2 things I can think of are 1)at this point they just consider him having a lifetime pass and will leave him there until he's physically unable, or 2)there is a magical sweet spot age group of people that were just young enough to enjoy him before he got too over the brink, and are now in the age where he IS nostalgic but not to the point of annoyance. But I mean that's got to be a VERY small age window.

I think part of it is Herbsreit. He seems to act like the show can’t go on without Corso. It’s just bizarre. The guy clearly doesn’t know what is going on.

They showed him on the sideline at last night’s game, and the broadcasters were commenting that he gets absolutely mobbed by fans everywhere he goes. He’s harmless, but I believe that he will eventually say something that will force ESPN to remove him. Something like saying that someone is fat.

I don't think ESPN is trying to hit on anything with him, I honestly think they (mainly Kirk) love him so much that they're willing to let him keep the job until he literally drops dead. Which is honorable I guess but it's gotten to the point where he's embarrassing himself. And others are right, he's going to say something one day that will get him destroyed by the goddamn SJWs and it might kill him

I'm old. I think your 50-60 something market likes him plenty. It's nostalgic. He is totally harmless.
I think the really younger market doesn't really watch Game Day much at all. You're mid 30's...same age as my kids. Y'all grew up watching regular cable TV. You watch tons of streaming, but aren't all cord cutters yet. The bunch younger than you is more likely to watch a bunch of you tubers or barstool guys or whatever. They are much more likely to watch vids of folks they follow than to actually sit down and watch a whole show of which they maybe only care about 1/3 of the stuff. They seek out only the content they want and don't watch the rest.
I think their research tells them the 20 something guys are gone. They watch their sports news a totally different way.
