It’s gonna be a challenge to run on that FSU front with a brand new OL. Need to avoid getting one dimensional as much as possible though. Can’t allow FSU to start teeing off with Verse and others.
If LSU can weather the storm early on defense we’ll be in great place to win a close one.
If either LSU line dominates the FSU line it’ll result in. 14+ point win.

This game could go so many ways for us. They have strengths where we have “potential weaknesses.”
I’m having flashbacks from UCLA last year, that defense was a disappointment across the board. Everyone on TD was beating their chests, including me. We don’t know what we have in our OLine. RB room is still a mystery. LSU has a lot to prove this game, specifically on defense. We’re going to need the front seven to play very sound fundamental assignment football.

yes this game could go many different ways. ANd while we do have alot of questions that need answers theres one glaring difference from this year and last...

Starts and ends with our OL. Give either QB time to make reads and get the ball out to playmakers in space. Give the RB's a chance. Not a hole, but a crease so they can gain pos yards, move the chains, and win the TOP/field pos battle. We don't want many 3 and outs.
DEF will need to make some key stops to get off the field, and not yield TDs. A timely T/O or two would be huge. The entire front 7 needs to play upfield, and tackle well. Looking for BJO to have a big game.

There are so many differences from UCLA last year. For starters, we’re not coached by Ed Orgeron, we don’t have 2 coordinators calling their 1st ever games, we haven’t had to relocate game week due to a hurricane, we’re not headed all the way across the country to play a team on the road.

I’m 35 and I’d estimate we’ve had an “SEC type” defensive line for about 30 of those years.
