why not?

Because no team has a 100% success rate on plays like they do in that video. And no team has an entire drive mapped out when they go onto the field. If you are expecting them to try to drive the length of the field in 2 minutes of real time, you are going to be disappointed.

That’s just fine. If they are tuned to move that fast in practice while executing properly, then they will have absolutely no issue being organized at actual game speed and won’t be the ones tiring out because of the pace.

The lack of tempo was a big problem last season. Our QBs and offense as a whole couldn’t handle running it for extended periods and that limited what they could do combined with the other deficiencies we had.

I agree. I wasn't saying as a bad thing. Hell, one of our biggest problems was not being able to get play calls in on time.

At the same time, you can probably find videos from the past 2 years of them moving at this pace in practice as well. You can do this when no one is playing defense. They still need to execute it in-game.

That's a pretty quick pace they're moving at.

JD is very experienced in such an Offense

Also, apparently if opponents guard the right flat we’re in trouble.

Secondary still concerns me. Too many offensive players running wide open. We're going to have to score a lot points or our DLine is going to have to play lights out.

I kept watching the entire video to see what everyone is so excited about. Two throws a 8th grader could complete in the flat??
