1993 Ole Miss: One of Curly’s upset wins (he actually had a couple). LSU misses 2 extra points but Ole Miss blows the game winning field goal 19-17. It was October and under 40 degrees.

2011 LSU-Arkansas. Spotted them 14 points, then kicked their arse for a 42-17 beat down and Petrino whining to Miles at the handshake.

Arizona at LSU 1984. LSU won 27-26. Max Zendejas missed a potential game winning FG late in the game and LSU ran out the clock for the "W."
Arizona was a very good football team that year; they were 7-4 overall (5-2 Pac-12 with losses to Washington and USC). They were on probation and didn't play a bowl game. I find it amazing that LSU scheduled TWO Pac-12 teams back-to-back that year, Arizona and USC. And those two teams finished #3 and #1 in the conference, respectively!
Somehow I don't remember Zendejas missing a FG late in that game. I know he kicked two FGs in the fourth quarter to cut the lead from 7 points to 1 (the second one with less than two minutes to go)! Arizona had all 3 of their time outs left; they got the ball back but I think the game ended on a sack of their QB around the LSU 40-yard line. I don't think they had time to line up for a FG.

LSU played very poorly that night, with untimely fumbles, dropped passes, and one muffed punt which led to an Ole Miss TD. It's just as well that game is forgotten; it was vintage Curley, but somehow the Tigers got lucky and unexpectedly pulled out the win.
The only good thing about the game (other than the W) was that for a brief spell in 1993 the team had confidence and went out the next week and shocked Bama on the road!

I was at that game. It was cold. And it was an ugly win. If it's forgotten it was for a good reason.

LSU @ UGA 2009 - Charles Scott scoring essentially a walkoff TD, was such a good game and a great finish.
LSU @ Bama 2005 - Alabama was 9-0, ranked #4, and Mike Shula was the next great college coach. Then Jamarcus hits D Bowe for the TD in OT to win it and break their hearts.
LSU @ Tenn 2006 - Jamarcus hits Early Doucet with the walkoff TD to win it

Another one is the win over Arizona in 2006
I legit thought the Arizona QBs wouldn’t survive the game. Would love to watch a replay of that.

What about the game where the heavy fog rolled in and it rained oranges? Who was the opponent?

My pick was miss st in 2000 but I'll give runners up to all the "our backs were against the wall and then we went to Gainesville" games
2004: lost to auburn, blown out at Georgia week before. Comeback and win in closing seconds
2010: won at game it felt we lost the week before against Tennessee (similar to UNC opener). Touchdown with under 20 seconds left to win it
2014: Handled by Miss st at home and blown out by Auburn. Ugliest 53 yard game winner you'll ever see ion the heels of some terrible Muschamp coaching.
2017: blown out by Miss St, embarrassing win against the cuse, home loss to Troy. Off to the swamp for a horrible game decided by a missed extra point.
2020: Facing our first losing season in 20 years, 3-5 LSU only needed a first time starter to overcome the heisman front runner, a game altering fog, a thrown shoe, and the longest field goal in LSU history where the kicker likely could not see the crossbar well if at all to win the game. Side note that because of the COVID delays, likely the only LSU game to ever occur on my birthday.

Rain delay 2004 Oregon St.
State trooper finally stops a streaker, then quickly takes off his hat to cover the streakers junk, and the crowd laughs. He quickly realizes that his hat is touching another man's junk, so he tries to backtrack, not realizing the blunder he's about to make. Dumbass puts his hat back on, and the crowd loses it!
