-Shea's commitment is on 9/1

-Zalance Heard announcing on the 1st. All the picks are for LSU. Have to like where we stand. Should be a great day for LSU.

-Offensive line in two years could look amazing. Hearing great things already about Will Campbell and Emery Jones with this 2023 class of lineman looks promising

-Getting into Neville and St. Aug is never a bad thing

-Brad Davis and now with BK they have the track record to start feeling really good about the offensive line moving forward.

-DJ Chester another name to watch and the evaluation process will continue for these prospects senior year.

-Ethan Fields is one to watch for not just LSU but other schools as well.

-Amazing how things have changed since July 1st with the jump that LSU has made in the recruiting rankings.

-Asked about Mason Taylor and why some services had him low. Shea believes in bloodlines and some services did have him ranked higher than others

-Bravion Rogers is trending/surging to LSU. Not a given that he ends up at LSU. He would fill that immediate need of CB that LSU is used to.

-Collin Simmons and Javien Toviano will both be in town September 10th.

-On3 prediction machine has LSU trending. Toviano doesn't say much but expect that hashtag for Toviano to come soon

-New staff wants guys to official for games. They want to sell the atmosphere. BK knows that he can now use this as a recruiting school.

-Jordy talking about how he believes Tiger Stadium will be back this year. LSU always the hunted but now the hunter.

-September 10th should be rocking in Tiger Stadium. Atmosphere should be amazing so much to look forward to. Great weekend for recruits to be in town.

-Great year for y'all locals in Baton Rouge to get out Friday nights to see all of these prospects

Is there any doubt that Shea is going to On3? I’m pretty sure most said that immediately. I like Sonny Shipp, but he’s about to get wrecked after Shea makes the move.

90% of our current players it seems do not have that natty ring. You have to factor in that new a hungry coaching staff + players after two bad years will call for a fiery Tiger Stadium.

With great success comes high expectations and a lot of complacency. But LSU was so reliably good for so long, fans entered Tiger Stadium EXPECTING to win...so it wasn't terribly exciting when they did what was expected.

Think back to the 95 season...or the Florida upset in 1997...or games in 2000. LSU fans were starving for a winner and every game seemed like a big deal because it wasn't just presumed LSU was going to win.

The last two years have humbled LSU fans a bit. Expectations for this season are probably the lowest they've been since the early 2000's...if not before. Even the most optimistic fans are not expecting LSU to compete for an SEC championship this year. So that means LSU fans who may have been apathetic going into games vs. Mississippi St or Ole Miss, or even Tennessee (since 2009 or so) are now excited again because it's not a "guarantee" LSU will win.

It may not seem like it, but the climb to the top is always more fun than staying at the top

If we get him, I don't think Purdue will ever forgive us. They were already deeply unhappy about the Collins flip.

No offense to Shea, but it’s a little tiring how people across recruiting services are so reluctant to talk about how the sausage is made and possibly show criticism for the industry. Taylor was a clear mis, what did not have to be a top 200 recruit? He had bloodlines, but that’s only a minor part that should have shown him as high floor high ceiling. He is/was physically gifted and was able to show it on the field. What makes him that different than Jake Johnson? Why do Johnson and Manning bloodlines come with huge attention while Taylor was an afterthought? I would like to hear some guys in the industry to actually give a real reasons and criticism why someone like Taylor can be such a whiff by the services, because right now it looks like the only reason for him being under the radar is incompetence.
