Does Anyone know if Champions Square will be having a tailgate before the FSU game?

Trying to find something close to the Dome so I don't have to stray to far out into the NOLA War Zone.

If you’re that scared stay home, you’ve got a better chance dying from covid than you do in Nola unless you do something extremely stupid.

At an invent like that weekend with so many people in the city as long as you stay on Poydras you will be safe. Stay on the beaten path and don’t stray and you will be fine.

There was a thread yesterday trying to get a list of all the "tailgates/parties" before the game. It listed 2. Both for $100 both on eventbrite. One was in a parking lot by the dome and 1 was top floor of Lucy's. When I looked at both Lucy's was open bar, food, and live music. The parking lot was beer and wine, food by Moe's BBQ, a DJ and tailgate games

Nola War Zone?

Seriously, man. I’ve lived in and visited NOLA for more than 3 decades. It’s no different than any other city

Me and the 11 year old daughter walk from the CBD to the Superdome along with 1000s of other children and women.

Stop being such a giant pussy.

That's the point I was trying to make in the thread. Drinking for 4 hours in NOLA + food somewhere you will easily spend over $100. $100 is a deal.

Thanks for providing info. This was the only information I found out about pregame tailgates as well. I was hoping they would do something in Champions Square. Worst case may walk down to Fulton St area if nothing going on around dome. Thanks!

If you are totally fine with tailgating at LSU, and walking around there, then you have nothing to worry about around the Dome. In relation to the stadium, I’d say walking around LSU is far more dangerous and risky, than walking around the Superdome.
