Solar isn’t very efficient.
If you are running your house off solar, it ain’t lasting too long once night rolls around.

I dealt with this, we just had to have a bank of batteries to store the excess power.
Its not very efficient unless you don't have a lot of choices. Maybe when batteries become less expensive.

She’s absolutely correct if batteries or an electric utility aren’t used.
Solar is absolutely NOT capable of supporting even 1 average home as a stand alone electric source.

I dont know about the rest of the country but here in the midwest, the wind dies down at night......So...I believe she is right about this issue.

Solar is only dependent on the weather. It’s never reliable. My crops may need water but doesn’t mean it’s going to get any water. The rain didn’t show up. Solar energy is the same. Wind, water, sunlight.

You can definitely tell when people have ZERO experience with solar. It may work in other parts of the world but not in places that use 1 or 2 a/c units all day, everyday for 6 months out of the year. It's just not an efficient energy source right now.
