Let's throw in in insane defensive talent on defense in the SEC.
WHY EVERYONE IGNORES THIS FACT.

When has Myles faced a talented SEC defense? You seem to ignore this fact! He has faced about 10 better defenses than Myles has faced throughout his career. Including beating the crap out UCLA last year without players like Boutte.

IMO. We need a QB that can successfully execute pre snap reads and go through progressions. If we use a running QB with limited ability to read md process. We will not win any games against the top teams in the SEC.

Our situation is not ideal. Talented QBs room. Mix of styles. Tough choice

Again, accuracy was the worry coming in , have I missed the talk or article or anything saying his accuracy is much improved. I want an accurate quarterback more than I want a running quarterback

According to reports Jayden was much more accurate Thursday and went 10-12 In 11 on 11 action so yeah he may have improved a bit

Same here. Accurate and get the ball to the WR and RB in space. Or make tough throws in tight coverage.
Jayden is the exact opposite.

+1

I'll take a statue with an arm over a runner with a subpar arm all day.

I don't see the point of a running QB if you have plenty of good skill position players.

Running QBs are for teams that have limited skill position players and I don't want Denbrock to run the Cincinnati offense.

I want 40+ passes a game. That's what you do when WR is your strength.

You have to have options that’s what was the power of our 2019 offense we had 6 options every play.
One of them was Joey B’s elusiveness.

The problem is that his throws in the spring looked terrible. I don’t know how much he could have improved in 4 months. Also, let’s not forget that Pac 10 DBs are no better than those of the Little Sisters of the Poor. However, I trust our coaches. I guess if he starts it’s because our best chance at winning this year will be read option

History tells us that the transfer on the roster will be our QB.

Especially when the head coach goes out and actively recruits said transfer even though he has 3 other QBs already on the roster.

People trying to read tea leaves and draw conclusions from 3 passes at practice when the coach already told you through his actions what he wants.

The Case for Jayden Daniels

If you can't stand Garrett Nussmeier, then naming Jayden Daniels the starter is the best way to make Garrett Nussmeier enter the transfer portal.

If Nuss can’t beat Daniels for the job it doesn’t matter if he enters the portal because Howard is going through take over almost certainly next season. This is probably a one year job unless Nuss proves to be really good.

Why? Jayden is going to be one and done. Before his disaster of year he was top five QB's for the draft. He still would have been a day three pick if he would have went to the draft last year.

Not exactly what happened. It's been reported Daniels camp contacted us and after doing our due diligence we decided he was a take.

I still think it's JD tho

Daniels threw a whooping 10 TD’s last year, I’m impressed.

Why do so so many want to crown him the starter? His passing in the spring game left a lot to be desired. I’m sure he’s a good practice player. Harris and Jennings excelled in practice.
