This board needs at least one story with a happy ending for the day.
quote:

A Denton County jury had just convicted 57-year old Edward LeClair of Frisco of five counts of sexually assaulting a child, all of which involved one victim.

Denton County First Assistant DA Jamie Beck said the judge had LeClair and his lawyers stand for the verdict. And when he did, he began drinking liquid from a bottle.

"He started to chug from a water bottle on the desk in front of him" said Beck. "and he wasn't just drinking it, he was chugging it."

eClair was taken to a holding cell while lawyers and the judge began talking about the sentencing hearing.

While in the cell, LeClair dropped over unconscious. Minutes later he was dead.

Pretty easy way to go.

Probably sucks till you go unconscious but overall seems easy.

He had help on this. We need to find out who supplied that water bottle.
... and give them a cash reward.

Interesting to find out if someone helped him by bringing the spiked water into the courtroom.

Honestly, the state should offer suicide to all convicted persons as an option.

Apparently he was out and was allowed to bring in his own water. Or poison.

These bottles should be handed out to of these people undergoing these hearings.

Great! Now I won't be able to bring water into the courtroom for my sentencing because of one jackass.
