Normally yes.

But I'm in the Baton Rouge metro and my gauge was a shade under 10" for August so far. Which is about what we have for the entire month of July.

Dry season is October-November and February-March

Restaurants: Roberto’s River Road, South of Philly, Taqueria Don Beto, El Meskal, French Market Bistro, Raul’s, Hannah Q, Bergeron’s

I don’t know much about Happy Hour deals, but the best places in AP to drink are Tiger Tavern, Nic’s, and Gilla Brewery. For food, Walk-On’s has decent happy hour specials.

Troy’s barbershop near Perkins Road overpass. $20.

I assume you are going to LSU. This barbershop is nearby.

Pretty darn good answers there.

Galvez Seafood is underrated imo.
Not in AP/Prairieville, but Robertos on River Road is very good.

Sugarfield Spirits and Grain Creations Brewery, you can walk back and forth

Schools are too crowded, Prairieville High is desperately needed, that will help with traffic

Problem with Dutchtown High is the middle school and elem school are across street and have to get their kids in and out as well

Fat Cats. Its the only place you need in Pville. Smoke inside, drink beer inside, pool table, and golden tee. Its like its 2005 again...for trashy folks and chill hole in wall bar.

Fat Cats is for trashy folks. Cottage Inn is for the upscale crowd of P’Ville.

Pimanyoli’s and little village just north of Prairieville. Agile brewing is there too.

Don’t go down to the river unless you are trash or in a biker gang.
