Really depends on if you're way up Hwy 42, or closer to Airline/Perkins area.
Airline/Perkins area
1. Does it ever stop raining?
Every day at 2:30 lately. Good thing is it doesn't flood like Livingston Parish
2. Where is a reliable barber that won’t charge me $40 for a 15 minute haircut?
Just for Him gives a free beer with a haircut
Sport Clips IF, and only if, you reserve Rose to cut your hair
3. Who has the best happy hour?
Half Shell Sunday Brunch, better drinks than food
Cottage if you're into the swinger lifestyle
Fat Cats for the cool, old dude regulars (say hello to Cowboy and Chief)
Coop's on 621 is the hidden gem with great bartenders
Spanky's for the younger women
4. What restaurants do I need to try?
Don Beto food truck is amazing
Hot Tails
Fratelli's can be hit or miss
City Pork on Perkins at Highland
Little Village on Airline (technically BR)
Ruffino's on Highland (technically BR)
5. Any places to avoid other than Prairieville itself for all the smartass folks on here?
Delivery from Papa John's pizza usually takes 2+ hours
Hwy 42/44 area
Mom's Bar is a total dive bar that usually has chickens, dogs, and cats walking around while you drink.
Fred's is a close drive with good bands and people watching on weekends. There's a boat ramp next door that can be very entertaining to watch.
Galvez Seafood
Nooley's
Airline/Perkins area

Leaders fried chicken for fried chicken. Griffin Grill in Dutchtown for burgers. Best burgers in the parish.
I like Freds on the River, but it just depends on what kind of person you are. A flamboyant boy won’t last long in there.
Avoid Hwy 30 from 4-6 if possible.
