On Tuesday, the New York Daily News reported that the Pelicans remain interested in acquiring Durant, citing an unidentified source. The report listed Brandon Ingram, Herbert Jones, Devonte Graham and Jose Alvarado as potential candidates to be traded for Durant.

If the Pels do that, they don’t want to win.

Marks is just trying to stir up more interest

Relax. Sean Marks hired Trajan as assist gm and they worked together for three years. We have shown to be okay with doing other teams solids and allowing our names to be thrown in the “trade interest” mix. In our mind it helps legitimize a smaller franchise. Based on past history and Trajan’s relationship, I wouldn’t worry about any of these speculative “KD to Pels” rumors.

We really are the best option for a trade for them. No body is even close, so we are going to keep getting mentioned.

I'm not a huge Ingram guy so I'd be ok with a swap (with us throwing in a few more pieces). Ingram and Zion haven't fit together great. I don't know if Zion and Durant would be better. But I would guess that it would have to be.

I don't want to include Jones or Murphy, even Alvarado and Daniels (can't trade him anyway) in any trade. I really like our young pieces. Hopefully Hayes and Lewis would work instead..

I would rather keep BI — would kind of be pissed if we traded him for KD honestly. Who’s to say KD wouldn’t do us dirty either like he’s doing nets if things don’t work out…

What do you mean no one is close? Brown is probably considered better than Ingram by most. The rest is just filler and picks.

This is exactly what the board needed: a thread about trading BI for KD. We've never discussed this before!

Who is Patrick McGee and why is he writing about the Pels using another news paper as his source? I guess CC was tired of getting hammered about click bait so the editor found someone else to do it.

Its a lot better filler and picks. Plus Nets don't want him in conference and facing him a bunch of times..

Antonio Daniels said on the radio today, with Rick Camla and Jay Williams that Griff said BI is off the table. Said it was said right when Zion signed the extension. Because Jay Williams straight up asked him, "what kind of package are ya'll putting together down there, some Bi?" AD was having none of it.

Brown is more efficient scorer and higher volume last season. And on a different planet as a defender obviously.

Athletic put out their rankings

Brown was in tier 3a which was players 20-25
Ingram’s was in tier 4a which is players 41-59

That’s oretty fair.

Do not want. He’s a tremendous player, but what a headache. Not worth losing BI.

KD has entered Lebron level bitch mode. They say it’s all about winning, but they are selfish twats who’s ego has tanked team trajectories. At least he doesn’t have a toxic player agency attached to him.
