What good would it do. The Republicans are like trying to get 20 different tribes to agree.
They all think they're the next great political genius and act independent. They aren't heel to toe like the Dems.
Its unfortunate but its part of our collective value system as Republicans. They don't go along to get along for just anything.

They are dragging their arse on this. Another “let us see it play out” moment.
The republicans are like a football team that’s down 4 with 1:00 to go and the defense gets an int at the 50. Then the coach proceeds to call draw plays 4 straight times.
Every single time they can have the Dems on their heels due to a miscalculation.. they play it safe and just hope the public sympathizes.
Meanwhile.. when the Dems get that same int at the 50, they have Brady at QB, Jerry rice, Randy Moss, and Terrell owens at WR, Walter Peyton at RB, and Jason Whitten at TE. And they freaking bomb it out.

There's still a lot of time between now and Election Day, not to mention 2024.
I think the House is as much a given as anything can be in politics this far out. Inflation will continue to be well over 5% by then and while gas prices are dropping I don't see fuel prices for energy dropping (which are primarily gas and coal). If energy bills are still sky-high, that not only continues to give Democrats an uphill battle in November, it gives them a bit of a double whammy by making their push of increased EV ownership that much more expensive.
The Senate is a toss-up because so few vulnerable Democrat-held seats are up for grabs. It's possible the Senate might flip, but it would be only by a vote or two (no large majority) and then you still have to worry about RINOs.
Time will tell of how this raid and whatever else the J6 committee dreams up, but even looking at the network news it seems their actions are blindly committing self-inflicted wounds on their party. This is where the old Napoleon axiom comes into play:

Republicans are made up of a lot more independent and self made types. They don’t go with the group just because everyone else is doing it.
