There are some posters noticeably absent today...

Some posters on this board have a self-professed love for Justice and the Constitution as a sacred document, yet they are eerily quiet this morning.
Of course if they appear outraged at the obviously partisan, chilling actions of the Democrat Alphabet Agencies, that means they have to take Trumps' side.

There are more than one who drone on and on about the sanctity of Law and how Trump brought a decided lack of decorum to our Government.

To quote the person currently in the White House...
Sandy Berger stuffed Classified documents into his clothing in an attempt to smuggle them out of the National Archives. For that, he was fined $50,000, sentenced to serve two years of probation and 100 hours of community service, and stripped of his security clearance for three years.
Before Trump left office he allowed officials to go through the information he was taking, no one found anything amiss. In January, Trump freely allowed the National Archives people in to look over his information and they took multiple boxes away with them.
Hillary Clinton and her team hid and deleted documents pertaining to her illegal email server, literally nothing happened to her nor any of her people.
The FBI said the Hunter Biden laptop was "Russian disinformation" prior to the Presidential election. It reportedly now shows various illegal acts by Hunter Biden and possibly links some to his father, especially when Joe Biden was Vice President. Yet they have not investigated this at all.
An FBI employee purposely lied to superiors about the CIA's work with Carter Page, resulting in Page being investigated for possibly attempting to collude with a foreign power to sway the 2016 Presidential election. That employee received a slap on the wrist.
Suddenly, over a year and a half after he's been out of office and after he's established that he will willingly work with the National Archives, they've conducted a surprise raid on his house in the late evening hours (when they knew he wasn't there) in an unprecedented move against a former President.
This is hauntingly reminiscent of the unexplainably overwhelming forces they sent to raid the homes of Paul Manafort and Roger Stone as well as the attempt at trapping George Papadopoulos.
When looking at recent history and how the Democrats are willing to weaponize the DOJ (and the DOJ is sympathetic to their doing it), this is indeed "a big fricking deal".

Trump should release the warrant.
I am told the prosecutors cannot reveal what is in a warrant but the target can do whatever they want to do with any warrant they are served with.

There is not really much on which to comment yet at this point. All we know is that a search was conducted, presumably pursuant to a federal warrant.
We have not seen the warrant. We have not seen the supporting affidavits. We don’t know what documents have been taken into FBI possession.
At this point, we are still very much at the stage of “reeeeeeeee, they are picking on Trump!”. Not much room for substantive discussion there.
When more substance becomes available, I am sure the discussion will progress beyond knee-jerk Trump defense.
