So when Jay Sekulow, a prodigious intellect, who's argued a slew of cases successfully before the Supreme Court, and gives every indication that he's totally comfortable in his position in time and space - who should've been Trump's AG from Jump Street - publically admits that he's a member of Jews for Christ, in effect, he's merely a lying posturer cravenly attempting to endear himself to that disgusting, deceptive, unethical Bog up there.
We can only go by what people say, and then let it play out.
But Sekulow as yet has not disappointed.

Yeah/ idk her and don’t really care to…so for me, it wasn’t about who he was being theatrical towards but just his base actions and how it seems we (society) now are ok with people treating each other with such disrespect.

I don’t know much about him but he doesn’t seem like a provocateur so i wasn’t directing anything toward Ms Sekulow
But i need to be clear here- i don’t hold disdain for all Trump supporters- i don’t think (or would ever think) that a MAGA supporter is a direct spawn of Trump - i understand that a very large majority of Trump supporters felt they had no other choice in the last two elections and that they voted the best for their conscience.
I’m speaking directly to the boorish antics that is being done and celebrated- that is a path we need to immediately disregard and find a more civil/ humanely way to show our differences

I’ll be honest, i watched about 15-30sec of that video …i don’t like that stuff- he seems assholian- it’s boorish - I’d rather waste my time on this site lol- at least here, though some of y’all are boorish - i feel like i at least learn something and it’s kinda productive lol

I don't know a anything of the background wrt the VICE journalist OR the CPAC guy.
SO - in general - I do not like boorish behavior from anyone, especially my friends or allies.
BUT - I also know that one of the things missing from our culture in this age, certainly as compared to the culture in my formative years (40s thru 50s) is the absence of public humiliation. While anything can be carried too far, I believe that some degree of public shaming is absolutely required - we CANNOT rely on our police agencies to enforce common decency and morality. We MUST confront inveterate liars and muck-rackers for what they are in the most humiliating way possible.
ONCE the opposition decides to confine their own tactics to reasoned debate and respect for truth, then once again we can retrun to civility on both sides. One sided politeness is music to the ears of the 'other side' - we have practiced that tactic to our downfall for the past 60 years to my own knowledge.
We need to get dirty while we are taking out the trash. But - we also must know when to revert back to common respect. I don't think we are there yet - we are still getting steamrolled in the 'disrespect' arena.
