Scenario- Guy gets busted with Child Porn, offers to snitch on the source

Do you give him a deal?
Summary:
Guy in metro ATL gets raided for downloading child porn.
He says he personally knows the people who are doing it and distributing it.
Cops determine he was telling the truth, and bust two people in a neighboring town who were the ones producing it with their adopted children.
Obviously we burn the producers at the stake... but the first guy who turned them over, do you let him walk in return for flipping on the actual abusers?

If the cops otherwise weren’t going to uncover that the pedos were molesting their own adopted kid(s), I say yes. Cops need bargaining chips and this guy had the goods.

This is the situation plea deals were made for. You don't let him walk but you reduce the charges/time requested.
Unfortunately DA's have weaponized the plea deal to get innocent citizens to agree to charges that the they didn't commit in order to avoid the possible jail time from more serious charges the DA can't prove...

Kill the two that were producing it. Jail him for life in a minimum security prison with no internet access. frick those who mess with innocent children.
