It definitely was a fun movie but there were so many scenes of cringe that I seemed to let go simply cuz the rest of the movie was so entertaining. For example, the beginning when bane so easily started an iv on the bomb guy while free falling in an airplane. Then towards the end when Batman was imprisoned with a hurt back and the guy just fixes it by hitting his back with his hand?! Lol. There was other things as well but omg it was bad lol.

That’s never occurred to me that he probably should have struggled with it like most nurses, but it’s a movie

I never understood how Wayne supposedly lost all his money. Billionaires are more diversified and those trades would have never legally been approved. He couldn't lose everything in an hour. A big plot hole like that can just take me totally out of a movie.

TDKR definitely has some obvious flaws, but it’s got good moments too. ScreenCrush has a good video on how TDKR is almost a masterpiece.

It was TDK on steroids. TDK had plenty of unexplainable and ridiculous parts. They are mostly overlooked because of Heath Ledger’s performance.

Said it before, but while I like the Nolan films, the fact that Batman was only around for about a year and a half before hanging it up for eight years and then returning for about a few months is laughable.

It didn’t make sense that he actually hung it up. I always thought he operated much of that time from the shadows. He was much worse off physically in the beginning of this than the end of Dark Knight, so how did he get those injuries? Heck he built a new batcave and supposedly never used it once as Batman?

This is what I also believe.

Yeah that part of the movie was just awful. No financial institution is going to allow trades that were forced by terrorists on the floor of a stock exchange. Even for a comic book movie that is a ludicrous plot line.

Yea but the guy said “ you have a vertebrae sticking out that must be put back in place” or something like that. No X-rays or anything lol. Just slaps the shite out of his back and he’s right back in the game huh?! Lol

It somehow also fixed his knee issues. That one veterbra must have been waaaaay out of place.

The part that got me was sending literally every single police officer in the city underground, where they inevitably get trapped. The tactical genius who came up with that plan should’ve been the first one sent out on the ice.

As I was rewatching this movie last night I couldn’t help but think how did this movie become a sensation with all the flaws it has? How was I just able to let go so many flaws? I new it had some before the rewatch but if you go and rewatch the Netflix version which seems to be an extended version and even try’s to help make more sense of all the chaos it still has so many hiccups.

Or that an army of cops would engage in a fistfight with an army of bad guys. Not one cop brought a gun huh.

The lack of superpowers in hero and foe makes a “realistic” Batman movie tough to pull off.

Hell, how odd was it in the new Batman movie to see him hanging out at a crime scene rubbing elbows with the cops. I mean he’s a regular dude in a costume. It’s just goofy.

It’s pretty funny reading someone complain about a scene that they can’t remember correctly

It’s an incredible movie that people nitpick and try to point out things that aren’t really flaws at all, eg, complaining about how he got back to Gotham in time
