I would trade the success we’re having in baseball recruiting for football in a heartbeat

We need some more MNC’s in football badly in order to become a blue blood. Football always trumps baseball bigly. Only through football will be become one of the major national brands.

We have the most natties in the past 20 years of any school besides bama and we are doing well on the recruiting trail not sure what you mean by "become a blue blood"

We are a national brand. Look at where our commits for the next 2 classes are from. All over the nation.

My man, go look at the last 15-20 years of football recruiting and tell me how many times we have finished in the top 2, 3, and 5 in those years. We will probably have a top 10 class this year and a top 3-4 class next year. No other program has had 3 straight HC’s win a national title, if Kelly does this we will have 4. We have more titles than anybody this century who is not Alabama, and we play them every single year. The brand is totally fine and you could rank it anywhere in the top 5-8 range. If Kelly wins a title or 2, you could probably really start to throw us up there with the blue bloods. Most of which, we have again had more success than this century.

Nothing wrong with football recruiting. We just got a 4 star O lineman. Currently 10th in 247 rankings, 3rd in SEC with only the 2 natty participants ahead of them.

LSU baseball needed this success in recruiting to get back on top of college baseball LSU baseball needs a national championship soon, the last one was in 2009 (13 years ago) and all rest is between 22 years and 31 years ago. It’s long overdue for a NC in college baseball and stay the top dawg and brand in the sport
