At an ordinance signing for facial recognition, reporters were not allowed to enter the mayor's office, only photographers were. When photojournalist in the room tried to ask the mayor about her upcoming trip to Singapore, their mics were picked up off the desk.

All kinds of reporters tweeting and talking about it, asking questions and finally maybe possibly holding her feet to the fire a little bit.
Of course, they are all racists, probably.

They've said nothing for years when she refused to do interviews with anyone but one small black radio station, never did press conferences, and just told all reporters to frick off if they didn't like it.
The media has been in dereliction of their duty for awhile now. At least they are starting to get some balls though I guess.

Nothing will come of this.
We had a POTUS that directly spied on the media for years, had his men hack their computers, and they did nothing but continue to carry his water for 8 years.
After he was outed by a Republican, the media went back to doing their jobs.
This is all for show. Our media is corrupt to the core.

She is going to Singapore to speak to a conference. Standard practice is for the speaker to be provided travel, accommodations, meals, and speaking fees. Is she doing a side gig, and charging the conference and city for all of her expenses?
