Universal Studios is playing it live and on repeat. Not sure why. I wonder if we're gonna get a full trailer soon.

I like Nolan, but I really hope he doesn't turn Oppenheimer's story into some incoherent, non-linear circle jerk.

I'm looking forward to not being able to hear any of the dialouge.

Hopefully Tenet humbled him a bit because that movie was TRASH.

I'm going to get one of those deaf people closed caption machines at the movie theater.

I have never once had a problem with hearing Nolan dialogue.

It’s such a bewilderment when I hear people that have issues with it.

Tenet was his weakest so far but still better than most things.

I want to say there's a purpose for it. Time/reality, or some manipulation thereof, is a common theme in all of his films (I think), maybe except the Batman trilogy. Even the trailer for this has a countdown clock. Time will have something to do with it.

The cast is insane, so take my money again Nolan.

Is Kenneth Branagh (Dunkirk, Tenet) the new Michael Caine?

Yeah I thought Tenet was choppy (not the purposeful parts) and could have used some further refinement, but I still think it's more interesting than 95% of stuff out there

I'm in for this for the subject matter alone. Seems like Oppenheimer would make for some great movies, yet there aren't really many out there that I can think of.

I'll trust in Nolan as I generally really like his movies. Hell, TENET was not overly great, but I still enjoyed it. And as much as I get both the love and the hate for him, I'll always appreciate Nolan for trying to make "different" and experimental kinds of movies.

Come to think of it, are there any good movies out there that revolve around Oppenheimer?

I’m so fricking in. Most I’ve looked forward towards watching a film since probably Endgame.

I hope so. I still have no idea what was going on in that film, and it’s hard to throw me off a sci-fi plot.

I mean a big part of it was I had no fricking clue what Kenneth Branagh was saying half the time. If I choose to rewatch it, I’m putting on subtitles.

Is this some common gripe? Because I've never had an issue with any of them.

There was a movie in 1989 that starred the guy who played Barclay from ST: TNG as Oppenheimer (John Cusack also co-starred). I think it was called Fat Man and Little Boy or Little Boy and Fat Man.

In any case, it’s the only major movie about Oppenheimer I’m aware of. It’s not spectacular but it’s doable until Nolan’s comes out and becomes the standard for Oppenheimer movies.

With all the time you’ve spent complaining about it, you could have done this by now.

I don’t even think I’ve mentioned this movie in like a year.
