That video sums up a huge problem and LBJ would be proud because his plan worked better than he could have ever imagined.

Is that near Georges Lane? Highpoint?

Didn’t realize Ellick turned into Somalia after midnight. Only a couple miles from the house. Gross.
They think this is normal to convene on a gas station at 1:30 in the morning they think its perfectly normal to act like thugs.

Exactly what I expected to see before I even opened your link. No surprise here.

This is why there's a mass exodus across the Red River. As bad as this looks, Pineville, Kolin, Tioga, Ball are some of the best places to live in Louisiana. I bought 12 acres outside of Pineville, technically Kolin. I built a house here and don't miss anything about BR. But Ellic gets worse and worse every year...pretty much like every town in the southern US.

The comment section is pretty good

Everything about that is just sad.

Grew up in Ellick… we really should have picked our own cotton.

You didn't realize how bad crime is in Alexandria?
In 2018 Ellick had a violent crime rate higher than BR or Nola. Think about that for a sec. More murders and violent crime than Lafayette, not per capita but actually more. Lafayette is almost 3 times the size.

That place is atrocious
Posted on 7/25/22 at 10:36 am to jkylejohnson
Why the hell would you live in that ceaspool?

Alexandria needs jobs. It's a depressing place, but it's near some excellent recreational spots if you like the outdoors.
It just needs jobs to kind of refurbish what's there.

I don’t know any of those people. I really don’t care about their well-being.

Wonder how many fatherless homes were created that night

You tryin to be a smart Ellick, baw?
Posted on 7/25/22 at 1:57 pm to jkylejohnson
Ellick needs to invest in some horsies. Mounted patrol breaks this up in seconds

Hey, at least there wasn’t any gunfire.
I waiting for the shots to ring out. Was actually surprised when it didn’t happen.

Well, when you have a POS mayor who only cares about a certain skin pigmentation…this is what happens.
Stupid is as stupid does…
