I have watch scant little of it, all I could stomach, and every last utterance had to do with Trump. And if it isn't directly to do with Trump, it is trying to circle it around right back to him. I have looked at the "low lights" of it as well. But just keeping it real, we both know exactly what it is about...why would they stop coming at Trump based on the previous years of failed attempts to bring him down? It is very difficult for me to watch though as it is a disgusting witch hunt with no rebuttal and it flies in the face of everything we stand for on the justice front our country was founded on.

You're not understanding what I am saying...I have addressed this point as well. This "plan" you speak of still is an attempt to circle this around to Trump. There is no other ancillary path they are trying to go down that won't lead directly to him.

If you, the Committee members, Pelosi, the Dems, et al are so eager to look impartially into this...why is Pelosi not being called to explain why she turned down the 20,000 Natty Guard troops Trump authorized? Why did she prevent those whom the Republican leadership wanted on the Committee such as Jim Jordan(I linked this in another post)? Why are they withholding all the videotape? Why have they not looked into Ray Epps? This list could go on...but the whole thing is just like the BS Russia Collusion partisan witch hunt...they don't want the truth nor even lift a finger to find it as that's all it would take. They want what they can use politically and pass off as the truth as a tool to rid the political landscape of Trump.

Pedo-Pete is already laying the groundwork for an early exit from his current office. His announcement about having cancer/again, and covid...despite the vaccine and a dozen boosters, is a precursor to the Dems taking precautionary measures before the midterms.

They know that he is dead weight at this point, on top of that, he's an overall embarrassment to the Dems at this point.

The exit strategy is in play as of yesterday, all we can do now is sit back and see how they play their hand. They all hate Kamala, and realize she is as much of an embarrassment as Pedo-Pete, so the next 6-8 weeks is going to be very interesting to watch.

Why take that? They want to get Trump disqualified and/or indicted and convicted prior to 2024.

The Republicans wanted to seat two members who were going to be called as witnesses before the Committee. That was an obvious conflict, so they were rejected.

Butt hurt McCarthy decided if he couldn't have Jim Jordan on the committee then no Republicans could be on it. That was McCarthy's choice, and it was the wrong move. This is why it has become a Trump bashing festival.

Banana republics, third world counties and totalitarian regimes hold fake show trials all the time to achieve their nefarious power objectives.

This is not one bit different.
