Pretty pissed about the Derby being at 6:30 AM. With it being dry January atleast its attainable for me to wake up at that time on a weekend

Also do we expect Weghorst to actually play?! He brings depth and a different element with his height/hold up play but I dont think hes better than our current options. Need Sancho to come back fit, thats the best January signing we could ask for

He is an excellent pressing forward. More of a target man which Martial isn't. I think its actually a good loan signing for us.

He actually influenced our hold up play and possession / playing out a good bit. This is especially evident to how shite we were at holding the ball in the second half without him for the first 15-20 min.

He looks slow as hell out there…looks lazy almost. Was offsides on at least 3 occasions because of said laziness and has no dynamic “oh shite Martial is coming at us” qualities. Yes, he held the ball up and maintained possession like 3 times all game.

Yea I agree, he has no real significant goal threat anymore. What we need is someone who can link our play up as well as Martial does in the buildup, but can also score goals consistently. Far too many times I’ve seen Martial fail to finish good chances.
