Maybe if y’all stopped eating those delicious breakfast tacos, your state would be better!

Btw, only Dr Jill says breakfast tacos. Never had one, many burritos though.

Live in Texas and no idea what you’re talking about. And breakfast tacos are delicious.

This is a breakfast burrito.

We’re not falling apart.
On the contrary, we’re becoming stronger.

Breakfast burritos are popular in California. Breakfast tacos are popular in Texas. Know your Mexican food better.

Amigo, tacos and burritos are entirely different, and you can get “breakfast” versions of either.

Gotta wonder where you live. It sure ain’t Texas.

PS that breakfast crap you buy at McDonald’s is not Tex-Mex.

What is wrong with Texas? If you stay away from the big cities it is great. The people are very friendly, delicious barbeque and Mexican food

You have me curious.

I have lived in Texas my entire life, and I have eaten Tex-Mex from El Paso to Texarkana to Harlingen.

Burritos are EVERYWHERE larger, basically “sealed,” and always flour. Tacos are ALWAYS smaller and basically “open” as shown by EKG, some in a soft tortilla and some in a crisp maiz “shell.”

The only regional distinction that I have seen is that the breakfast variants are more likely to be called “tacos” south of I-20 and “burritos” north if it.

Even that is not uniform, because places offering more than one size almost always use the taco=small and burrito=large distinction. Breakfast tacos usually have only one egg, while breakfast burritos have two (or more).
