Leftists: Do you find it odd that the most popular Presidential candidate

in the history of this country, Joe Biden (81 million votes, remember?), has one of the worst approval ratings, the worst economy, the worst energy prices, the worst foreign affairs record, in the history of this country?
Explain, intelligently (key word), how the most inept administration that ran one of the most inept campaigns, received the most votes for any elected office in the history of this nation dating back 246 years.

The excuse they will use is the same one every time
People (aka white suburban women) were so sick of Trump that they would rather a senile old man than mean orange man tweets.

Oh, ho, ho. It's magic you know. Never believe, it's not so.

The 'explain' part you may wait a bit for, the 'intelligent' part you'll never get from a jackass Dem.

I'd like for them to explain, then, how did Trump beat the shite out of "it was her turn" Clinton, considering Trump's tweets were way more active before he was POTUS, if "mean tweets" were so detrimental? Did these white women love his tweets as long as it was tearing down one of their FEM icons, but all of a sudden got upset when he was attacking a life long white male, geriatric politician?

Higher turnout. And I’m not a leftist. But that’s an easy explanation for them, and it’s why relying on sheer vote totals as proof of anything at all is silly.
There was higher turnout in 2020, much higher than there had been in a long time. The mail in/pandemic situation plus Trump’s polarizing nature all but assured that beforehand. Both sides were motivated, which doesn’t happen often. Of course the total vote numbers were going to be larger, regardless of who won.

Yes but he gives out free stuff to 57% of the population
Hard to beat that

AggieHank is correct. Had Trump been more open about his vaccine and decided to sell MAGA masks (for when the liberals force you to wear them) he likely would have won bigly.
The stupid catches up to you.

How did he beat Hillary in 2016 then? Do you think Trump was less polarizing then?
Trump followed up Obama, one of the most beloved politicians by the left, in many decades.
For Trump to beat Hillary in 2016 and yet lose to Biden, then Obama's record had to have been so despised (despite being so popular among leftists) that no one wanted another Democrat. Yet Trump soundly beats Clinton, then in 2020, his tweets which were much less voracious, somehow loses to a 50 year life long politician, who's clearly losing his mind and suffering from dementia?
There is no rational explanation for the Potato to win other than outright fraud. Just from a logical thinking perspective.

Jug Ears’ numbers were believable. There is no way on earth The Crypt Keeper got more votes than Black Jesus.

This is a fact - not an excuse. You can run numbers across most suburbs in the country and see how the Democrats gained in these areas from 2016 to 2020.

I’ve long said that TDS is strong in both parties - i understand it’s hard to hear outside this echo chamber but Trump wasn’t really liked outside his base.
Due to my job, i run in many political circles - people who weren’t base, were just tired of Trump and was down to flip administrations bc of him

Did you ever look at Trump's approval ratings? They were extremely low and not far off from Biden's.

Lowest Trump's dipped was 42, Biden is in the low 30's and has a completely shitty economy and gas crisis to go with it. If you wanna say, "but covid", any rational human knows that the Covid shutdowns, outside of the initial 2 weeks when it first popped up, were 100% Democrat led. NYC, Oregon, Washington, every city with a Democrat mayor. Then we look at Florida vs. the rest. It was and is clear shutting down the country was a Democrat prerogative. Hell, they all fought over the news cameras to insist on shutting down, masking up, and no "non-essential" business. If you deny that, you are being completely dishonest. Hell, the left are still clamoring for more masks and business shutdowns.

Great question -
Hillary lost because she was less appealing than Trump ….i for one couldn’t vote for HRC even though i couldn’t vote for Trump.
And she kinda coasted and forgot to campaign in Wisconsin/ Michigan and Pennsylvania
Also, remember that debate where she said she was ok w/ 40wk abortions? I think that pissed off suburban women

Biden’s really low numbers can be directly connected to inflation and fat prices …

That is not a logical explanation. You don't get more votes than Obama if you aren't the most charismatic human in the US. Obama, as much as i loathed him, was a darling because 1) he was black, and 2) he was a leftist.
Biden went to 1/15th of the campaign rallies that Trump did. Biden called a lid on his campaigns by 11 am.
"But Trump wasn't liked" is a lazy argument for people who don't like to think.
