Isn’t the ultimate support for Trump still equal to 81% when adding Trump (49), Desantis (25) and Cruz (7)?

Your type of Republican that supports Pence, Haley, Rubio, Romney et al would vote for the Democrat nominee. So, there would be 12-19% of the polled population for which support is not attainable for Trump.

Remarkable educational divide among *Republicans*:

College grads prefer DeSantis over Trump, 32-28%.

Non-col grads prefer Trump 58-21%.

About 58% (much lower than before - as the brightest have finally seen the light) of this board support Trump - and can't get through more than one post before yelling like uneducated morons: "They stole the election!!" "Damn machines!!"

The divide will get larger and larger by 2024. DeSantis will easily be the favorite by then - hopefully.

Love Trump, but he needs to sit this out and put support behind DeSantis.

DeSantis is Trump…just a hell of a lot better staying focused, articulating his point/policy and doesn’t go down every damn rabbit hole to argue over issues that don’t matter.

Down vote away, but you know I’m right.

It really doesn’t matter. The moment when the MSM realizes DeSantis is the Republican nominee they will attack him with full force. He will be literally Hitler. And you will predictably stop supporting him and beg everyone else on this forum to withdraw support because he’s “bad” for the Republican party.
