Drove past this place last night on Harrison Avenue, surprised to see it open. Any suggestions on what is good there?

The pizza has always been pretty legit. They have a couple great apps - the garlic knots and cauliflower with feta are very good.

It's been open for like a year.

Garlic knots and wings eat pretty good.

This may be a rumor but I hear them and Shaya are coming to BR in the new Harveston development.

Roasted cauliflower app and clams pizza are legitimately elite

I don’t know if I’ve eaten there since Alon Shaya left so hopefully it’s still up to his standard

That location was originally planned to be a sports bar, after being built it was vacant for quite a while.

One of the stranger business moves I've seen in the restaurant industry. He built a very nice building with very limited parking and tried to theme it as a family sports restaurant.
Menu was all over the place and apparently wasn't worth a damn from the very start.

Yes very strange. It was called “Azul” then said “Sports Restaurant” underneath

Someone told me they didn’t even have TVs in there

Off of Bluebonnet extension? Puzzling spot if so, even though I'm not far from it, and I would go all the time

It was slammed the first few months and a service nightmare. But I recently went back and it seemed to have found its footing. The pizza is the ultra thin crisp style, which while good does not hold up well to take out. Eat it there. Salads are quite good.

Yea we did take out often during covid and had to have the oven preheated when we got back home so it could be good, and we lived less then 5 minutes away from the Magazine location
