I think this week has been fantastic as long as you realize a “commitment” at this point doesn’t really mean anything.
But, it’s better that these kids “commit” to us rather than other teams.

Most knew that we’d be fine and still pull a top 20 class. I do think some people wish we were doing better in Louisiana though.

Recruiting right now to me is up to the LSU standard given we get the rest of the top from Louisiana. The make or break is how we do at the OL and LB position....just Zalance and Tyree is not enough as we need more on the OL and don't see any big names at the LB spot yet. Here's to hoping we get it done....Geaux Tigers!!!!

I find it funny how a couple of weeks ago people were saying he can't recruit, but we get a flurry of commits and now it's "well let's wait and see." So two weeks ago it was fine to make definitive statements but not now?

Anything can and probably will change but the fricking waterfall of recruits committing the last week or so makes several “the sky is falling” posters look really dumb

Because if we can rebuild our wall around LA then we are getting back to our golden years.
It starts at home, we dominate our state most years and then go outside when needed. Should we take a worse in state player over a better out of state? No, but we should be looking to build in our state and then grab what’s needed outside of it.
I like being able to get kids from anywhere, but if la can maintain talent level especially at rb, wr and db then we should have it locked down.

I think he’s doing a good job. Getting his shite packed in La this year, but that’s not really his fault.
Going out of state and getting big recruits is great to see.
Combine that with locking up the state next year will be unbelievable
