I'm worried about Rosario, he wasn't good in Gwinnett.

Rosario went 9 for 33 at Gwinnett. That's a .273 average, don't see where you are getting that he "wasn't good."

Matzek threw 2 perfect innings with 5 Ks

Rosario played out of his mind in the playoffs. If he can bat .250ish and give us a glove in the outfield I’m happy with it

He had one good game and a lot of strikeouts.

Mike Soroka has thrown live BP and threw a simulated game Saturday at North Port, Fla., and is moving closer to beginning a 30-day rehab stint, #Braves manager Brian Snitker said. But didn't say specifically when that would happen.

He had a .680ish OPS and struck out in 30% of his at bats, that's the definition of not good. Hopefully he can turn it on.

Great news that Soroka is close to starting a rehab assignment.

Appreciate the other info, yeah that definitely needs to go the other way.

Hopefully it was just a case of him getting back in the swing of things and getting his timing back, b/c those numbers won't cut it.

I remember watching this wacky July 4th classic.
Game played to the wee hours of the morning.
Fireworks promised and delivered after 3am, waking the folks living around Fulton County stadium up.
They called the police believing their neighborhood was being bombed.

He wasn't bad, either, for a guy who was out for months. He was atrocious in his rehab stint last year after we acquired him, but he sure snapped out of it as soon as they activated him. I think the energy of being back in a game that matters is going to get him going again.

Can Duvall play 2nd base?

(This was a joke. I feel like I shouldn’t have to clarify that, but there are people on the Rant who literally thought LSU’s left-handed 1B should be tried at SS, so…)

Too bad we don't get to see baby back bitch Jack Flaherty. Braves still owe the Cardinals for repeatedly throwing at Acuna in that playoff series.
