Exactly. Had it been left at "safe, legal and rare" it would have eventually ended up reaching an acceptance level like marijuana legalization or gay marriage. Instead, they constantly pushed the timeframe allowable for an abortion further and further forward in the pregnancy until they were pushing partial birth and post-birth abortions.

There's absolutely no amount of philosophical gymnastics one could perform to define partial nor post-birth abortions as anything other than infanticide. As I told my wife last night, the reversal of Roe is the pendulum swinging back after being pushed waaaaay too far in the progressive direction.

When Obama had 60 Senators and a House Majority they could have enacted a law that codified Roe, but he didn’t. The Left should be pissed at Obama also.

RvW imposed a nation-wide limit of 24-28 weeks (viability at the time). More permissive than most european countries.

The MS law that got RvW overturned, was a a 15 week limit. A 9 week change. About 91% of all abortions occur before the 13th week.

In essense... "no one was coming for your abortion". And it was just some "common-sense regulation". And "doing what they do in Europe".
