A warning letter from the FDA sent OWLT tumbling last Oct. Owlet's Smart Sock product was being marketed as a medical device according to the FDA. As a quick shift work-around, the company repackaged/branded the product & website, and started marketing it as sleep device. They are working closely with the FDA to get the main blood oxygen alert features back. Keep an eye on this one. They are ramping up their international expansion efforts this year. I also love the fact that Amazon owns a small piece of this company. They could be a perfect buyout candidate, especially at these price levels and in this current market environment.

OWLT made for a nice swing from $1.50s to $5 and recently saw the bottom drop out, very quickly falling back to sub $2 levels. I might try to swing this one again back up to somewhere between 3.50-7.80

I like this one. Didn't know they were working on bringing back the vitals. We intentionally didn't upgrade to the new app just to keep the vitals on there. If they get that back it will be big. That's the main reason most people buy it.

Owlet reminds me of Lululemon. Everyone who bought just before it really blew up made a killing.

Agreed. But I don’t know many people that have 2.

Also wonder how many people loan theirs out to friends once their kids are old enough to sleep without it..

It’s had some massive swings and I don’t understand the huge selloff that it just experienced.

I believe there was an expiration on restricted share lockup, fairly recently.

Just got added to the Russell 3000. The major ETFs replicating the index will rebalance over the next week or two into the Russell weightings, if I’m not mistaken.

The product is in a really unique space, and does give a ton of peace of mind to new parents.

However, it’s not a cheap product so we’ll see how sales do with the economic environment and the FDA story.

This could explain the recent fall off the cliff. Not sure how I feel about this just yet.

That update sounds like it was written specifically for Owlet. It also had the bit on weighted sleep gear which is new.

Should be submitting to FDA soon for Baby Sat…unless this dip means a delay is coming. Either way, I’m scooping more at these prices. Currently sitting on 25k shares. Hopefully Amazon still owns shares here.

I think the problem Owlet is facing is the path to profitability and the market punishing most names without a clear path.

I’ve had shares since Dec ‘21 and the FDA approval stuff was expected this year.

With that said.. market is putting a $200M market cap on OWLT shares. The company could show $100M in sales this year.

3Q sales numbers will be interesting.
