Catalytic Converter was stolen last night.

I know that it's not optimal and will be loud, but Can my daughter drive a 2008 Honda Element back to New Orleans from Houston without it so that I can take care of it here?

Should be fine. Will set of the check engine light but that's just because the emissions shite will be off.
Looking at the pic it doesn't appear the exhaust will be blasting on anything important.

I was behind a Tundra one day last week that was obviously a victim of this. Guy was driving it just fine but the truck sounded like a fricking dragster

If she idles for a while she might get some exhaust fumes. The computer will probably go rich so you might tell her to drive a short distance first to see the outcome.
