Headed there for a couple of days toward the end of the week. Besides Prejeans and Lafayettes any other good places. Don't mind driving a few miles if its worth it.

Make sure to go get some boudin and cracklin from Best Stop and Dons in Scott.

The riverside inn that was mentioned is very good. Pats in Henderson is great. But thats a ways out.

Tsunami's (downtown) sea bass could be the best thing you'll ever put in your mouth.

Olde Tyme Grocery (near campus) for po'boys.

Meche's (north and southside) do-nuts.

T-Coon's (downtown) has a pretty good plate lunch.

Catahoula's in Grand Coteau.

Black's in Abbeville.

Ms. Laura's for pork chops -- be ready for a nap!

+1 for the Saturday Zydeco Breakfast. Where else in the world can you enjoy breakfast at 830 in the morning while everyone dances to zydeco.
