I think it’s safe to say we’re in the lead for Sampson who’s a top 5 WR.

It is quite depressing if you listen to these recruiting services; however, in this new environment I really don’t think they are locked in as before so there is hope.

It's going to take a few years for NIL $$ to work itself out.

No
we won’t finish with a top 20 class and Kelly is done here

You shouldn’t say stuff like this, the board has no actual knowledge of sarcasm

Sampson and.. that’s it. We’re all just waiting for something at this point. We’ve always had some camp commits but there’s no movement at all

NiL $$ isn’t going to work itself out. We are either going to get our feet out of the mud and compete with these other schools for recruits or we get the leftovers.

It may not be year 1 for pretty obvious reasons if you step back from the ledge for a minute, but this staff will consistently bring in top 5 classes starting as early as 2024. I would not worry at all about recruiting long term.

Lsu will have a top 10 class in 2023...book it!

Going to sign 3 stars with a couple 4 stars thrown in and coach them up.

We ain’t got no money left. The boosters all had to pitch in to get Kelly to sign up and come down here.

O and fellow coaches buyouts combined with new staffs contracts have put the squeeze on big donor contributions. Then everyone turns a blind eye to how much interest was lost when LSU and governor Roberto went full woke with their BLM stance and required proof of vaccination to enter the stadium last season.

I say this with all due respect: You're a retard.

They were last summer and you see how that worked out.

One more blind eye.
I remember minister of propaganda Cody Worsham going on AFR and saying that only 50 or so people requested season ticket refunds. What a lie.

If you look at the CURRENT 247 Team ranking you will see:
1. Notre Dame (15 commitments)
2. Texas Tech (20 commitments)
3. Cincinnati (20 commitments)
4. Northwestern (18 commitments)
.
.
.
.
31. Texas (6 commitments)
.
.
39 LSU (5 commitments)
.
.
.
41 Texas A&M (5 commitments)
.
47 Alabama (4 commitments)
The point is there are several annual recruiting powerhouses who have very few commitments right now. That's not surprising given that the players have a ton of negotiating leverage now. Why would I commit to LSU in June when I could get them, A&M, Alabama, etc in a bidding war for my services? The blue chip prospects know this. That's part of the reason why you see so relatively few of those guys committed right now.

Your chicken little schtick is getting old. Recruiting world is different now. Look at the top programs' classes right now. There hasn't been much movement anywhere really.
