With Tex and A&M alumni monies I would not rule them out but in the long run the NIL money temptation will be too hard to control unless the NCAA puts rules on transfer portal

I can tell you the Texas fans had no idea what hit them in Austin in 19. They were completely shocked by the LSU invasion. The bartenders on 6th st were completely overwhelmed and had no idea. We tried to tell one of them on Thursday night what was coming, and his response was, "It's just a college game." We laughed at him

They are definitely not ready for a road SEC game yet

Texas going to learn real quick you are just 1 of 16 and nothing special. They have run the Big 12 offices for decades. We only think Alabama runs the SEC. It was written in the Big 12’s by laws that Texas, and also Oklahoma, were above everyone else.

We're talking about Austin, TX people. One of the most woke-tard, Libtard, perpetually offended places on the planet. Their "transition" to the SEC will be painful for them and we will all enjoy every minute of it. Horns Down you bunch of poussoires.

Horns down? Much to do about nothing. Unbelievable; there’s always some idiots offended by just about anything. Get over it.

Texas playing an SEC schedule will be a rude awakening. This isn’t the Big 12, or whatever they call it. Weekly arse kickings will be a shock to them.

For such a holier-than-thou group, I would be surprised if A&M fans didn't almost universally condone taunting an opponent during the national anthem. Although, they seem to be incredible irrational when it comes to anything burnt orange related.

Not entirely true. Certain SEC programs have much more pull than others. Texas will have a seat at that table for sure. Too much $ to not have an opinion that matters. You’d be lying to yourself if you think South Carolina has the same weight at the table as Texas.

OU, Texas, LSU, Bama, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, Florida.

What's wrong with horns down?

He was hired to sing the song, not interject his position. He has every right to his freedom of expression. He used it. He does not have a right to sing the national anthem at the CWS. And they probably covered this with him before he did it. Little douchey....

Do you mean “condemn”?

Ridiculous. It’s all part of a fun college atmosphere.

I agree with you that the more successful and more affluent programs in the SEC tend to have more unofficial influence, but that ignores the absolute fact that Texas was the sacred cow of both the Big 12 and before that, the old SWC. Everything from the Longhorn Network to a larger cut of the profits were the order of the day.

T-Sippers are y’all n for a rude awakening because they were always allowed to do whatever they wanted and the good of the conference and other members didn’t matter.

But the true difference is that the days of Texas having 2 or 3 legitimately challenging games a year are over! Instead of Kansas, Iowa State, Etc. They’ll see AUBURN, LSU, A&M, BAMA, ARKANSAS, Ole Miss & State (or a similar lineup)

Finally, I remember the typical, Chicken $hit way UT handled things that n the past and the the SEC just will not allow. A great example was them refusing to provide LSU’s band or alumni any seats for the 2019 game other than 1500 seats in the corner of the upper deck.

Let the beatings begin…

A majority of SEC games vs Texas were played in Dallas when they were SWC champs playing a 3rd place SEC team. SEC champ has long gone to Sugar Bowl. And before the conference alignments, SEC champ would often go to Orange Bowl. Cotton has long been 3rd choice behind Orange & Sugar before bowl alignments “fu&ked” everything up.

Expect LSU to have 100+ yards of unsportsmanlike penalties vs Texas if this carries over... Lol
