Will be there for a meeting later this week and would like to venture away from the strip for dinner each night. Looking for a local spot like a Gino's, Zorba's, Mansur's, etc Off the grid but excellent. Nothing too pricey but will splurge some if it sounds great. Thoughts?

People can't read, apparently. OP stated he wanted to eat somewhere OFF the Strip.

Lotus of Siam is almost always mentioned when you ask a local for a great place to eat.

Was coming here to post this. One word of advise though - if it's a spicy dish and they ask you what spice level you want (1-10) DO NOT go over 5 unless you want to burn your face off!!!

Piero's

Old school Italian Vegas restaurant that used to be a mob hangout.

Get the ossobuco. You're welcome.

Not fancy but Battista's Hole In The Wall was good. Been there since 1970.

Herbs and Rye. Reservation needed. Go during happy hour or late and night and steaks are half price. Cocktails are delicious.

Le Thai near the El Cortez in Fremont East. Followed by (or before) cocktails at the Laundry Room, hidden speakeasy. You need to text to get a reservation...oops, looks like you can do it online now. Really good craft cocktails and a great speakeasy vibe. It's a very small place inside the Commonwealth Bar.

Nora's Italian - very good Italian. Off Strip.

Damn good. Didn’t go too hot and really enjoyed it. Long wait but worth it. Thanks.

Second this.

They make a good Filet which I think was around $50, which I thought was reasonable at that price.

The wife and I went there last year. She got the Khao Soi. She’s pretty sensitive to heat. A jalapeño is hot for her for reference. She requested a level 3 and it was still hot for her but she managed and it was very good.

My wife and I ate at Bajamar last year on Blue Diamond Rd. Apparently the original is on LV Blvd but it seems to be north of the touristy areas.

Anyways, small hole in the wall type place, but the food is excellent. Great mix of flavors and a very creative menu. Almost makes me want to go back to Vegas just to eat there again.
