Lower level football season tickets still available, per message from the ticket office

I remember when I was excited just to be on the waiting list. Now they can’t even sell out the lowers.
Of course the issue, in my opinion, is manifold. The prices are too high now and there are too many seats since the SEZ expansion. Also, parking and traffic is a nightmare these days and people would rather just watch at home.

2 bad seasons
High cost of Lower level
Inflation is kicking everyone’s arse. We’re about to be paying $12 for a carton of eggs and gas is still going up.

A lot of people don’t want to pay that much to watch a half of football and listen to the rest on the radio as they beat the traffic

Just wait to see the price of gas in the fall

No thanks. It’s not worth the price of admission.
I gave up my southeast Endzone tickets because the campus environment sucks
You can’t tailgate without being 50 miles from campus.
The concessions suck arse.
A majority of the games are rent-a-wins

I had a blast with on campus tailgates last year and we had a losing record

gave up my tickets several years ago. I go to all the games and get the rent a win tickets for free and pay minimal for SEC games.

$$$ The price of the tickets in the dome for LSU/FSU are crazy. I don't think they will sell it out.

My family has had tickets for nearly 50 years. That is the ONLY reason I continue to renew mine. However, each passing year I give more and more thought to just giving them up. The value of attending the game is becoming less and less. This season I will pay nearly $1,500 for one ticket. Three of the 7 games (Southern, New Mexico, UAB) really aren't worth the hassle of attending...which is getting more and more onerous.
Even smaller capacity stadiums are struggling to consistently fill seats with the ease, comfort and cost of just watching every game on TV. That's not going away and will become a MUCH more enticing option in light of the fact today's dollar gets you far less than it did even just 5-10 years ago.
You're not going to change the fact that every game is on TV. Too much demand and revenue to be made there. I don't even know how much more LSU could realistically do to significantly improve the game day experience. IMO, one of the few things that could make the game day experience more appealing is for the power conferences to separate from the NCAA and quit playing these shitty non-conf. games no one really cares to see in person. If LSU (and every other power conf. program) were playing, say, Miami, Oregon, Penn State, etc, etc, rather than Southern, UAB, etc, I think more people would be apt to attend. But sitting in brutal summer heat (even at night) to watch LSU overmatch Southern isn't all that appealing when you could do the same thing in the comfort of your living room

I got great tickets for $65 a pop. The max is $275 and the lowest level is $50. Not sure how those prices are crazy.

In 5-10 years, there will be a college football league made up of all the power programs and those schools will just play each other. One of the factors that will drive this will be attendance and TV contracts (TV doesn't want to pay for LSU-Southern. It will pay for LSU-Southern Cal)

Thank every Democrat you see. The Party of open borders, giving tax money to illegals, baby killing, promoting homosexuality to school children, baby formula shortages, high food prices, and $5 a gallon gas. But don’t worry because Joe and the Democommies care about you.
FJB & LGB.

I wish more of y'all would give up your tickets.

After years and years of screwing over season ticket holders. They deserve this.
Case and point, Texas didn’t come to BR to complete the home and home. Fine that’s out of our control. You have to counter by having FSU come to BR. If they refuse, you pony up and get someone else to come. Throw enough $ at a program they will come.

I was surprised that they still have availability.

You're telling me LSU's having trouble selling tickets?

Posted on 6/8/22 at 1:04 pm to jbraua
I dropped from 4 to two this year.
Expensive tickets, Crappy concessions, crappy parking, reduction of tailgating spots, reduction of tailgating portolets.....

Upgraded from uppers to lower bowl SEZ couple weeks ago. When talking to the guy sounded like mostly singles were still available and pairs were running low. I’m sure it harder to sell singles.
