Looking at the issues(crime, homelessness, schools, etc.)in democratic led cities and the democratic policies in federal government presently destroying our country. It's an indisputable fact, it's not working and we need a change.

From outside observations it seems their belief is that their solutions aren't being enforced strongly enough so they just need to do even more. They refuse to believe their ideas are at fault, the only fault (to them) lies in the level of commitment and the implementation.
