Crotch rockets should be banned. Nobody who drives those things obeys traffic laws. And there all total douchebags to top it all off. Had someone I worked with accidentally run over and kill one of these types of people bc the biker was driving like a maniac cutting people off. Now he has to live with that.

Sitting out in the hot sun or cold while people in cars sit in comfort may not be their idea of fun. Using one of the few benefits a bike offers is only wise. Exactly how does that effect you? They get to their destination sooner. You jealous? Buy yourself a bike.

The cyclist is obeying the laws. He is lane splitting at a low rate of speed while traffic is virtually at a standstill.
He is not passing on the line while doing 55 mph.

Why? Each motorcycle is taking up a car length of lane, but, if they split lanes, they move on and effectively reduce traffic by one vehicle. The only reason to be mad is jealousy that one random person is getting to their destination faster than you.

So who is at fault if you're in a car and in the process of changing lanes a bike comes up pretty quick and he hits you or you hit him?

Bet he is also the self appointed speed monitor on the interstate and drives 70mph in the fast lane because that's the speed limit.
