Woman with pistol shoots, kills man firing at graduation party: 'Saved several lives'

A woman in West Virginia fatally shot a man Wednesday night who had begun firing an AR-15-style rifle into a crowd of dozens.
Charleston Police identified the man as 37-year-old Dennis Butler.
The people were attending a birthday and graduation party outside a Renaissance Circle apartment complex.
Butler had been at the apartment complex earlier in the evening in a vehicle and was warned to slow down because children were playing, according to authorities.

This is one of those instances where I don’t mind seeing it posted multiple times. Post more good guys with guns stories. Tired of the left denying guns being used in self defense and in defense of others. It happens way, way, way more than guns used in violent crimes.

Well in fairness, that comment is usually directed to someone boasting from behind a keyboard. You just had an substantial number of paid law enforcement officers stand by and do nothing in a crisis. I think that comment is appropriate in the majority of situations.
But, yeah, you’ll have exceptions.

The person who's life is being threatened is much more likely to kill the shooter than someone who has to put their life in danger. That's why everyone that can legally carry, should. You don't know when your life will be in danger (it happens in the blink of an eye) and don't want to have to rely on someone else to decide to put themselves in harm's way to save you. The left would have us all cowering and begging for our lives at the mercy of those with no regard for the law or human life.
