i don't count Steve Kerr. I have to admit i thought he was just a figurehead for LeCoach and Wade but now that he is on the brink of a Finals loss with this team. i have to give him his due.

You mean finals 2 out of three years possibly with this team.

And he is if anything under rated.

To be fair they have won more than 1 playoff game only 2x in the last 6 seasons. But spo is great he is one of the best.

He has to be at least top 2 in the league right now. Him and Pop are the top 2. I need to see Kerr coach without Curry/Dray/Klay to see what he’s actually like. Any Coach not named Mark Jackson could at least make the finals with that roster

Did you see Gary Payton jr bounce around the fringes of the league for 6- 7 years can’t find a home or role anywhere then kerr turn him into a high level Role player at age 28? Kerr is also elite.

I agree that he’s good, he’s #3 for me. I just don’t think that Kerr could do what Spo is doing with his roster.

Popovich is cooked and has been finished for a while now. Hopefully he’ll start hating America from his couch sooner than later.

He’s better than that clown for the Celtics by a mile that’s for sure.

I look at Kerr like I do Phil Jackson. Neither created the teams they coached to championships but they do an amazing job with those teams and make them play as a team with all of the egos of great teams.

I think Spo has done more with less than a lot of coaches in the NBA. Spo has really shown that post Lebron and wade He is real good coach same with Pop

I was listening to the Russillo podcast and a guest brought up that everyone harps on Spo being a film guy for Miami, BU to was apparently their #1 player developer

Kerr's teams have historically ruled the 3rd quarter so he's great at adjustments.

He put on a clinic against the Mavs with his defensive schemes, going heavy zone at times and working his defensive rotations to maximize Wiggins and Looney and hide Curry. The Mavs had a really, really tough time trying to get the matchups they wanted on switches.

You don’t count Kerr for the same reason you disregarded Spo.

Spo is elite.

Whenever I hear someone discuss best coaches in the NBA, Spo is one of the first names I hear.

I have also come around on Spo, although I do think he is a much better coach now than when he had “The Heatles”. Honestly, I think Riley has prided himself and the Heat organization on rosters full of tough gritty players which has really fueled Spo as well.

These types of comments are always a disservice to Mark Jackson because the truth is Kerr is holding Mark Jackson's championships imo. Mark Jackson did a spectacular job assembling that talent and because GM Jerry West didn't like the man or couldn't or wouldn't get along with him, well, he terminated the man, unfairly. Jackson was about to get a very young G State team at that time over the hump when he was let go.

He was getting them to finally believe in themselves and their talents in order to win it all. They had finally matured and come into their own year they won it all. They had been making the playoffs before winning it all, but you could see the immaturity and youth in all of the crucial mistakes that they made in previous playoffs exits. But then Kerr comes in the year that they finally put it all together and wins Jackson's titles. Lol People can holla all they want about Kerr's coaching being the difference in them finally winning it all, but you could see how sure they were of themselves in that first championship season, they were basically a self-functioning team that season, Kerr had very little input in them being the juggernaut they were that season.

Calling the team owners cock suckers that are going to hell and trying to exercise demons out of players will do that to you.

LOL Yes, I want my damn rings, I couldn't get any when that damn Jordan was in the league the same time I was. But now here comes along his damn ex-teammate to steal the rings that I worked my arse off for.
