MJ made Steve Kerr. No one would have heard of him.

pointing out that they consistently don’t make noise in the playoffs is dumb

Great job Cherry picking “the last 6 seasons” to make your point. Why not use the last three seasons, where they potentially could be in the nba finals 2/3.

Or why not the last 7 seasons, where they won 7 games in that 7th season

Or why not the last 8/9/10 seasons where they were in the finals a bunch.

I sure hope they make the finals. But they haven’t yet. So as of now they have been more no playoff success than playoff success seasons lately.

As a lifetime Heat fan, Spo is able to get the most of out his guys and has an extremely talented front office that is able to not only find the right guys, but get those guys bought into their "Culture" and have them perform better than they would at most organizations. You can see it with all the undrafted free agents that Miami has been able to put in as functional starters.

My only issue with that is the fact that we are truly relying on UFAs to try and help carry this team into the Finals. Lowry has been garbage, Bam is inconsistent, and Oladipo should be getting starter minutes. Also, not sure why Markieff hasn't been seeing the court at all since he's supposedly able to play again. Obviously I'm not an NBA head coach, nor am I in the locker room, so I would like to give Spo the benefit of the doubt, but a lot of these decisions make me scratch my head at times.

Regardless, I believe the journey he has made as a video analyst to head coach makes him a current top 3 coach, and arguably top 15 coach all time.

Spoelstra is definable one of the top 4 coaches in the NBA. Where you put him can be debated. Also anyone that is debating whether Steve Kerr is a great coach and one of the best in the NBA, if not the best, is just hating on the guy because they probably don't like his political views. But from a pure basketball standpoint he is great.

Coach Spo is a great coach, no doubt. He has proven to be year in and year out. However I think that the mastermind of that organization is the Godfather.
