He was on location in the Dominican Republic while making a film.

Saw that. Good Fellas is one of those movies that can show up on TV when it's late (around 11 pm local time) and it's truly time for me to go to bed so I can function the next day. But, all that be damned. I must watch it. The whole of it no matter the consequences for the next day.
Very good actor. Not sure what happened with his career after this movie. I'm sure someone here has some knowledge on that. But, damn if I didn't enjoy Good Fellas.
RIP Ray.

He has been in a shite ton of movies and TV shows. If you look at his IMDB, he has 126 acting credits. About 110 of those were after Goodfellas.

But none of them nearly as great as his part in THE movie.

Ray was a Good Fella and not like his co-star, super a-hole ,play gangster, bag of wind and anti-Trumper ,Robert De Niro.
Would play $100 to see a boxing match of DeNiro vs. Trump.
Trump would deck his crying arse in first round.

Trump is a pussy. I can’t believe some people think Trump is a tough guy. I promise you that Trump never got in a single fist fight in his life.

I always liked him as a performer, but must ask ...
Political how?

I’ll allow it on those grounds but will advise caution going forward.

One of my favorite movies that came on HBO constantly when I was a kid was No Escape.
It seems like no one ever talks about it, but it made me a fan of Liotta. Then as I got older I was able to appreciate his better movies.
