Salvador Ramos had a difficult home life and had been bullied at school.

Allegedly he had no known mental health history, however.
I notice there's no mention of a father in any stories about Ramos.
Has a connection been explored between mass shootings and an absence of a stable father in the home?

People who knew the gunman have said he lashed out violently and acted strangely over the years. They also said he had a difficult home life and had been bullied at school.
The gunman, Abbott said, apparently had no criminal history but may have had a juvenile record. That was still being determined, the governor said. Abbott also said the gunman had “no known mental health history.”

Apparently he and his mom had a fight about the WiFi right before he left to go kill his grandmother.
It's super weird how his mom and now his grandfather and giving interviews so soon.

Schools do have a huge problem w bullies. If only teachers took it seriously.

So, he was bullied in high school so he took it out on 3rd and 4th graders? Sounds like a bully to me.

I get called to my child's school to administer an aspirin to treat a headache. Teachers dont want to be bothered with ANYTHING outside of their basic duty to teach.... unless they have some toxic liberal cause celebre that they want to foist upon children. Then, suddenly, it "takes a village".

You better believe David Hogg got bullied and he used it to become a worthless pain in the arse, not a mass murderer.

I wish he wasn’t talked about. We aren’t gonna figure out the why so frick him

I'm a teacher..
1. Most do take it seriously...administration sends students right back to your class..
2. Most bullying at my school happens online. If someone harasses another off school property, should the school not allow them to attend? I'm sincerely asking...i don't know what the answer is. I do know that won't happen.
There is a huge amount of mental issues in our schools and the people up top dont want to touch it. They want to normalize it.

Not blaming the teacher's for that. A lot of parent's are awful and probably threaten to sue over anything.

Hogg did have a dad in the home. I wonder if there's a connection between mass shooters and a lack of fathers in the home

It’s why grooming is allowed.

I disagree. Most act like they do so they feel like they did something. Who are most of the bullies in schools? It's not the poor weird kid that shoots up the school. Teachers kids??? Kids that can get away with it. Kids the teachers like? Ball players? Cheerleaders?
So Look around at school and watch. You will see who the bullies are at your school. Weather you do anything or not is up to you. Or just blame the guns.

Slow your roll. You can thank the lawyers who have sued school districts, campuses, and teachers for the inability to dispense meds.
The social justice crap is perpetuated by a minority of teachers- albeit a growing number. Lumping all teachers in that category is akin to saying that all who live in St James Parish are trailer park dwelling toothless POS.
When you have spent a week at school that including showing up before 7 and leaving the building as late as 10 VOLUNTEERING duty then you can rail on teachers.

Don't really care. He should get the needle/ ride the lightning/ whatever term you want to execute him.
And quickly. I don't care if he is crazy. When you do something so evil, you lose the right to reenter society.
There is no forgiveness for him from me.
Good can grant him forgiveness if you believe in him, but I will not.
