I finished it over the weekend. It was okay. I couldn't get over Cisco and Griggs voice. I looked up an interview with the actor that plays Cisco and he does have a deep voice already but he's Australian. I wonder if he has to do the deeper and raspy voice to do his American accent. Also, I had a hard time believing that Hallers blonde ex and Cisco were getting married. They showed them kiss once and i lol'd.

I think it is excellent and the lead actor is very good. Entertaining show I thought.

Idk which is true to the book but I liked the movie Mickey Haller better than the show version. Idk if it’s the acting bc I’m pretty indifferent to mcconaughey. Just seemed like he was meant to be a cool slickster like in the movie. I only watched a little bit but the character in the show kinda seemed like a dude who didn’t really have his shite together.

Stuck at home with covid so I watched this earlier this week. I definitely would have stopped after the first two episodes if I wasn't sick at home. The acting is just so bad.
Trevor Elliot was a horrendous character. He originally plays hardball like he has a bunch of lawyers begging to take his place. He demands the trial to continue on schedule and provides ZERO help to Mickey.
"Ugh, like what are you doing here Mickey? Can't you see that I'm busy playing with my drone? I don't have time for this meeting. YOU HAVE TO WIN THIS CASE, BOTH OF OUR LIVES DEPEND ON THIS THIS IS MY LEGACY!!!!" So stupid.
And how does taking the stand in your murder trial help protect your legacy? You look worse by getting up there and getting roasted. That did nothing to protect his legacy. It's like he didn't realize that helping your lawyer might actually be the best way to help protect your legacy.
Not the worst series in the word, but there were some really bad characters and it was pretty predictable.

It’s entertaining. The acting isn’t the best, especially after I just finished Better Call Saul, but that’s an unfair comparison.
