Stacey Abrams says Georgia ‘the worst state in the country to live,’ despite owning multiple houses there
'I am tired of hearing about how we’re the best state in the country,' Abrams laments
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams declared Saturday that Georgia is "the worst state in the country to live," despite owning at least two houses there.
"I’m running for governor because I know that we have to have a conversation about who we are in this state and what we want for each other and from each other," Abrams said during a speech at the Gwinnett Democrats' Bluetopia Gala in Norcross, according to audio posted by the Gwinnett Daily Post.
"I am tired of hearing about how we’re the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live," she said.

If it's a terrible state, it's because of politicians, so stop being pissed at each other and let's focus our energy solely where it belongs...on the politicians who created the problems with shitty policy

Already a lot of Republican "seizing" and "pouncing"

Well that’s quite an interesting quote, about the state you are running for governor for, to get any fence sitters in your corner.

She should waddle herself up to Vermont for a while.

Nothing says "vote for me!" more than bad-mouthing the state you allegedly want to lead/represent. That (and racism) are the only two arrows in the Democratic Party's quiver.

She’s not wrong. Between Atlanta, Macon, Augusta, Columbus, Athens, Savannah, Albany, metro areas there really isn’t much left in Georgia that isn’t high crime and poor with terrible schools.
The rural areas were great once upon a time and the cities ok but for the average person in GA it’s pretty bad. But the kicker is she would make it worse. Between increasing crime and devaluation of what education is available the metro area issues would just be magnified in the rural areas.

knowing the makeup of gwinnett and ATL proper that's all it'll take for her to win.

It's obvious she didn't include food in her opinion of her state.

Then get out there and vote. If you can't beat this disgusting racist pig in a state with 60% whites, Georgia deserves what comes next.

Yeah I mean, GA isn't the worst state but it's got problems, and they're all attributable to people like Abrams

Typical Democrat: tearing down everything about this country at every turn.
Just for once I’d like to hear a Democrat say what’s nice about this country. They won’t do it.

...and is directing her voters to vote for Kemp in the primary to keep him out of a runoff.
What the hell are Kemp voters thinking?
