So…..You’re saying that you weren’t excited when you graduated HS?
It’s a special time in a teenager’s life, and meant to be enjoyed by them and their family.
Have a good weekend Scrooge.

My junior high school (5-8) had 8th grade graduation, and it was a BFD, probably because about half the class would never finish high school and knew it. That was it for them, so the whole family showed to celebrate.
I hate boring ceremonies so chose no to participate, and it was a bit of a kerfuffle. School admins could not believe I wanted to skip the ceremony, and they made me get parental consent, which took about 10 seconds.
I did enjoy high school graduation with longtime classmates, but I skipped the college ceremony. Too hot, long, and boring.

OP is literally the most miserable person in the world.
It's a proud accomplishment and the first step in going into adulthood. I would like to say you know about this but I don't think you do.

All education is a GD joke no one fails that just pass them on to the next grade

Because that is their lifes biggest achievement ever. How sad is that?

For the same reason you celebrate ejaculating. It’s a major accomplishment

My mindset was that it was expected to happen so it wasn't a big deal to me. College was the same as far as I was concerned.

If I took the ACT they give today I would have scored a 34.

I didn't take it seriously, but a lot of people find enjoyment in it.
I felt more proud of my CPA than any high school or college graduation.

Personally I was just happy to get out of that redneck hellhole. Only returned once to see my sister graduate and that will be the last time.

High school is a joke

IDK. The people who graduated in 2022 had to spend a couple of their best years with masks and lockdowns. Probably remote learning.
I’d celebrate the end of that too.

The fact that our society makes such a big deal about graduating high school says a lot about how we got where we are.
I can't speak for the rest of the country, but here in S. Louisiana, we'll have a party for pretty much anything. What's more fun than getting family and friends together to celebrate someone special becoming an adult? It's awesome, actually.
And do you celebrate birthdays at all? I mean, all one has to do is be born to have a party if we're following your logic.
