I see two problems from Dinesh's side.

1. There is a simple disagreement between Tucker's producers and Salem Media for the length of time the trailer would be shown on Tucker's show. Tucker's producers want to cut it in half. Dinesh/Salem want the entire trailer shown and won't allow any of the trailer to be played piecemeal on Tucker's show. They can't come to an agreement so none of the trailer get's shown on Tucker.

2. And this is the biggest issue with Dinesh, he didn't name any of the mules or NGO management in the documentary. Name names so people can be prosecuted for crimes.

I don't know many news shows that are going to air a complete 90 second trailer.

It’s law enforcements job to investigate the evidence. They have all the cell phone id’s and non profit organizations. I believe they said they were going to release the names of the nonprofits.

You are assuming that when that's not what Dinesh is saying. I would agree that Fox asking Dinesh to submit a shortened version of the trailer would be a reasonable request. But, being specific about what and where the cuts are is problematic.

And the entire idea that "We're Fox/Tucker and you just fricked yourself for not agreeing to our terms" idea is EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH MEDIA TODAY. That the media believes it is so powerful that it can shape information rather than report it says EVERYTHING about what we are dealing with.

Keep sitting back and waiting for someone to solve everything for you.

You are bitching about Dinesh not including all the information you want. Is there any information in the movie that is valuable?

Expecting one media company to run a commercial for another media property is never going to be good proposition. The FNC people should have outright said "No, sorry" from the get-go. Given that they didn't Dinesh should have said "thank you" or moved on himself. This is childish of him to be all butthurt.
