Maybe I'm missing something, but this doesn't make sense.

Why would Fox News show a 45 second trailer of a movie, and not include the name and reference to said movie?

Well, it shows where their priorities lie. If both sides were unequivocally sure as to the utter importance of this film and that what it shows is literally a presidential election being stolen then there would have been a compromise. One side wanted the glory of owning a story that wasn't theirs and the other side wanted the name recognition of a movie that they can make money from.

its still more about self in both instances then country.

Lots of replies in this thread completely missing Dinesh’s point.

He communicated his terms that if Fox wanted to use it, they had to play the whole thing. He didnt hold a gun to their head, they can say no.

Instead, they f’d up and disregarded what he told them. Whether on purpose or accident - its on FOX. This producer being a fricking dick because Fox wasnt going to get their way is all Dinesh is sharing with this exchange.

The discussions about whether its normal for a news channel to play 90-second clips is irrelevant to what Dinesh posted.

He told them from the start. As time approached they wanted to trim it, he declined. At no point has Dinesh asserted FOX couldn’t decline. He is pointing out how Fox reacted when they wouldnt get THEIR way.

Why don't these two effeminate cocksuckers pick up a phone and flesh it out instead of acting like betas?

Terrible take and pathetic standing up for the news outlet who called Arizona early and helped rig the election.

The length is one thing, but you do not cut out the references to the movie. You can’t show content without referencing the movie or giving credit. It’s wrong and it’s so obvious why Fox was doing it.

I'm not standing up for a news org (talk about a terrible take).

It sounds like there was an interview scheduled in Feb that had been planned several months prior. One week before the scheduled interview Denish produces a trailer and demands a large portion of the shows airtime be dedicated to promoting his movie. For whatever reason the guest decided to pull out at the last minute and the producers believe it was because of Denish not getting his way. They obviously did not blame her for what happened.

They invited her back for another interview but obviously were going to cut ties with everything Denish at this point. Denish shot himself in the foot here. They could have had a written agreement about how the clips would be properly credited during the interview the first go round. That didn't happen. Debish tried to bully the show and ended up yanking a guest from Tuckers lineup on the eve of the broadcast because he didn't get his way.

I'm not surprised Tucker didn't mention the movie when he finally did get to interview her.

Don't care. Don't watch and don't trust anyone in television news. They try to be the news instead of reporting the news.

How so? Fox were the ones who wanted to change things at the last minute, not Dinesh.

Tucker's star just dimmed a lot.

I see two problems from Dinesh's side.

1. There is a simple disagreement between Tucker's producers and Salem Media for the length of time the trailer would be shown on Tucker's show

You are assuming that when that's not what Dinesh is saying. I would agree that Fox asking Dinesh to submit a shortened version of the trailer would be a reasonable request. But, being specific about what and where the cuts are is problematic.

And the entire idea that "We're Fox/Tucker and you just fricked yourself for not agreeing to our terms" idea is EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH MEDIA TODAY. That the media believes it is so powerful that it can shape information rather than report it says EVERYTHING about what we are dealing with.

2. And this is the biggest issue with Dinesh, he didn't name any of the mules or NGO management in the documentary. Name names so people can be prosecuted for crimes.

Keep sitting back and waiting for someone to solve everything for you.

You are bitching about Dinesh not including all the information you want. Is there any information in the movie that is valuable?

I'm hoping Tucker tears Dinesh a new a-hole.

Anyone else find it funny this is transcribed, and not screenshot of this conversation?

Like I said the other day, I think the group that dug up the info about the mules is clearly on to something and probably accurate. I've never liked Dinesh and don't trust him at all. His crying like this about it only solidifies that feeling.

Oh, I don't disagree with that. But you also can't demand a 90 sec free ad. When was the last time a 90 sec trailer ran on a news show?

Dunno but you can treat most MSM coverage as in-kind contributions for the left.

Agreed, Dinesh should not get a free commercial on Tucker. You pay for that. Tucker's team, is within their rights to use an appropriate snippet.

Sounds like it was producers and not Tucker. We all know that there are some things that FOX News isn't going to allow on the air. I really with Tucker would go to newsmax, but he would lose a massive portion of his audience, and would be giving up a metric ton of money. Sucks because I haven't watched FNC since election night.
Yeah I side with Dinesh here BUT it comes across as butthurt, and I don't see where Tucker himself is involved directly. Sounds like a hotheaded, egotistical producer.

Emails suck!

a phone call should have been had to avoid this misunderstanding

I mean yeah, you can't just say full trailer or no go

you don't tell fox what they can or can't do, you ask...

the guy running Tucker has a personality problem

I like Dinesh and I like Tucker

shame that happened

You splice 45 seconds they were given and have “from 2000 mules” underneath it. They have been doing that forever.
